They host workshops, member meetings, Coffee or Wine in the Garden, and the annual Garden Walk fundraiser. Proceeds support scholarships, playground upgrades, community gardens, library landscaping, and local beautification projects

The Mission Hills Business Improvement District (BID) is a nonprofit formed in 2004 to enhance the commercial area’s vitality. It supports local businesses through committees focused on promotions, economic development, design, and parking. The BID organizes events, advocates for merchants, manages assessments, and partners with the city to foster economic growth in the neighborhood

Mission Hills Artists is a volunteer collective promoting creative individuals living or working in the Mission Hills (92103) area. Through their Facebook page, they share exhibition announcements, artist events, and local art market news. The group encourages community engagement, supports local talent, and fosters a vibrant neighborhood arts scene.
