Grow With Your Neighborhood

At Our Mission Hills, our projects aren’t just about improving parks, planting trees, or building features. They’re about you—your ideas, your energy, your voice. When neighbors, businesses, and organizations come together, we create spaces that reflect who we are: heritage-minded, future-focused, collaborative, and caring.

How You Can Be Part of It

Every project on this list depends on the gifts and engagement of neighbors. Here’s how you can help bring them to life:

  • Volunteer time — garden days, cleanup crews, event staffing, or simply helping with deliveries, setup, or oversight.
  • Donate resources or money — even small contributions help: plants, materials, signage, tools, lighting, benches, or financial support to cover permitting, contracts, and maintenance.
  • Share your ideas — attend community meetings, give input on designs, send feedback on what matters to you. Your voice ensures projects reflect who we are.
  • Connect with neighbors — get to know others who care, build friendships, share skills. Collaborative work deepens community roots.
